STUDENT CONGRESS COMMITTEES

FOOD SERVICES COMMITTEE

The Food Service Committee works with the students and the Food Service provider serving as a liaison, working to improve the quality of food service, and serve as an outlet for student comments and concerns.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE

The environmental committee works to make Doane a more sustainable campus. The goals of this committee is to make Doane a waste free campus, by improving recycling and compost. While closely working with Sodexo and Doane's Ground services it is our job to keep Doane clean.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

Community Development overlooks the improvements of residential living and the buildings on campus. Through student concerns our goals for this committee is to improve the life outside and inside by implementing things like hammocks, ice machines, and new technology. Working with Doane's ground services and residential life to introduce new technology to our campus to improve living conditions, increase security, and enhance the quality at Doane.
